Conflict of Interest Policy
Conflict of Interest Policy (COI)
The journal is committed to ensuring complete transparency and objective integrity throughout the publication process. This policy applies to all stakeholders involved: authors, reviewers (referees), and the editorial board.
1. Authors’ Disclosure
Authors must explicitly disclose any financial, personal, or other relationships that could potentially be perceived as influencing the research findings or their interpretation.
-
Authors are required to include a formal statement confirming no conflict of interest at the end of the manuscript, or detail the nature of any existing conflict (e.g., specific funding source).
2. Reviewers’ Responsibility
Reviewers must guarantee absolute objectivity in their assessment:
-
Reviewers are obligated to notify the Editorial Office immediately if they have any conflict of interest with the research, the authors, or the funding institution, and recuse themselves from the review process in such an event.
-
The journal selects referees who have no prior relationship (personal, professional, or financial) with the authors, ensuring that the evaluation is based solely on the scientific merit of the manuscript.
3. Editorial Board Obligation
-
Editors and Editorial Board members must decline handling manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest with the authors, or if the manuscript relates to their own personal research.
-
Editors are committed to not using any unpublished information contained within the manuscripts for any personal gain without the authors’ written consent.
