Tripoli Central Hospital, also known as Zawiya Street Hospital, is one of the largest government hospitals in Tripoli. The hospital administration needs to provide adequate and well-organized parking spaces for patients and medical staff. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to determine the need for parking spaces based on the current conditions in Tripoli Central Hospital. The study was divided into four main stages. The first stage is to evaluate the current status of the current parking lots during rush hour during official working hours in case of saturation according to the system followed by the hospital. The site was divided into several areas using the Google Earth Pro program and a direct count was carried out. It was found that the number of available parking spaces is approximately 640 spaces randomly so that there is no traffic flow. The second stage is to study some standard specifications and international design standards. The appropriate specifications were selected and applied to the study case, which are (Dubai Building Code_English_2021 United Arab Emirates), (Amended Building and Organization System in the City of Amman 2019JORDAN), (INDIAN ROADS CONGRESSIRC 2015). The third stage dealt with four improvement proposals that represent models containing the maximum possible number of parking spaces, taking into account movement and traffic flow by distributing the parking spaces over the available spaces to reach the result obtained in the first stage, which represents a number of (1120) spaces. The fourth stage of the study presented a comparison between the existing and proposed alternatives and options.
